Collectors often refer to this silhouette as the "Kennedy style," noting its resemblance to the models famously worn by the U.S. President. The name "Respirator" refers to its specialized engineering; based on the patented Compressor-type case, the construction is designed to "breathe" by compressing under water pressure to enhance its seal and water resistance.

Presented in unworn NOS condition, the watch shows only minor storage marks-the ultimate certificate of authenticity for a serious collector. The silver satin-finished dial impresses with its clean geometry, while the "28800" signature points to the high-performance heart beating within.

Inside is the prestigious in-house Zenith 2562PC caliber with 23 jewels. As a High-Beat movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers chronometric precision and a signature smooth sweep of the second hand. A date window is perfectly integrated at the 3 o'clock position, rounding out its classic elegance.

This rare specimen holds significant investment and horological value, offered in its full authentic set: complete with the original black Zenith leather strap, branded buckle, and factory hangtag-exactly as it left the manufacture in Le Locle over 50 years ago.
